During the XXXII and XXXIV Italian Antarctic expeditions (2016/17, 2018/19), 91 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the REGGAE project in northern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks and fossil woods. During the X Italian Antarctic expedition (1994/95), 639 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the international EUROSHACK project in Shackleton Range. During the IV Italian Antarctic expedition (1988/89), 819 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Regional geology, tectonics, stratigraphy, geological mapping and remote sensing" in northern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. During the XII Italian Antarctic expedition (1996/97), 721 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Crustal accretion in northern Victoria Land: structure, metamorphism, kinematics and chronology of the junction between Wilson, Bowers and Robertson Bay terranes" in northern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. During the IX Italian Antarctic expedition (1993/94), 1066 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Evolution of the Pacific margin of the East Antarctic craton in the Proterozoic-Early Paleozoic" in northern and southern Victoria Land.
